Gardenia, a plant of Asian origin, is highly sought after for its fragrance and delicacy. Gardenias are highly prized for the beauty of their radiant, fragrant white flowers wrapped in dark green leaves. The Gardenia flower symbolizes purity, sincerity, innocence, sophistication and sweetness. It is believed to attract good vibes, transmit tranquillity and create an atmosphere of relaxation and well-being.

Cares
Prefers bright indirect light. Avoid direct exposure to strong sunlight, which can burn the leaves.
Keep the soil evenly moist, but not soggy. Water regularly, especially during active growth.
Prefers temperatures between 18°C and 24°C. Protect from temperatures below 15°C.
It needs high humidity, ideally between 60% and 80%. Spraying the leaves or using a humidifier can help.
Use an acidic, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Mixtures for azaleas or rhododendrons are suitable.
Fertilize every 2-4 weeks during spring and summer with an acid fertilizer, diluted to half the concentration.
Light pruning after flowering to maintain shape and encourage dense growth.
Can be affected by aphids, mealybugs and mites. Inspect regularly and treat with insecticidal soap or neem oil.
It doesn't need specific support, but it does need a stable environment to avoid stress.
