It has also been considered by Feng Shui to be one of the plants that transmits the most positive energy to a home, thus becoming known as the "Lucky Plant".

Water moderately, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. The plant is drought-resistant and does not tolerate waterlogged soil.
Ideal between 18°C and 26°C, but can tolerate variations outside this range.
It tolerates low humidity, but prefers medium humidity, ideally between 40% and 60%.
Use a well-drained soil mixture, such as soil for cacti or succulents.
Fertilize once a month during spring and summer with a balanced, diluted fertilizer.
Remove yellow or damaged leaves to promote healthy growth.
Generally pest-free, but can be affected by mealybugs and mites. Inspect regularly and treat if necessary.
It doesn't usually need support as it grows erect and vigorous.
Toxic to pets and humans if ingested, may cause gastrointestinal irritation.
