Zantedeschia, popularly known as milkcup or pitcher, is a perennial plant that originated in South Africa. Its funnel-shaped flowers are elegant and exude a timeless charm, and are often used in floral arrangements and decorations. The bright green leaves complement the beauty of the flowers, making it a popular choice for both interiors and gardens.

Cares
Prefers bright indirect light, but can tolerate some shade. Avoid intense direct sunlight as it can burn the leaves.
Keep the soil constantly moist, but not waterlogged. Reduce watering in winter when the plant goes dormant.
Prefers temperatures between 15°C and 25°C. Avoid temperatures below 10°C.
Prefers medium to high humidity. Spray occasionally if the environment is too dry.
Well-drained soil rich in organic matter. You can use a mixture of garden soil and compost.
Fertilize monthly during spring and summer with a balanced fertilizer. Stop fertilizing during the winter.
Remove wilted flowers and damaged leaves to encourage new growth. Pruning also helps maintain the plant's shape.
Susceptible to mites, aphids and mealybugs. Inspect regularly and treat with appropriate insecticides if necessary.
